TO DO Tuesday

Hello!  Aren't you just loving fall finally being here?  I certainly am.  Texas has had the most beautiful weather for the past week.  Chilly mornings (chilly to us is 40-50 degrees) and warm afternoons (around 78-80).  It's been wonderful and we've been spending a lot of time outside just soaking it all up.

I'm still in the Halloween spirit, so most of the items today have a spooky flair, but I've included one super cute Thanksgiving idea, and the perfect accessory for fall.  Take a peek.

Mandy over at Mandy's Yellow Corner has a super easy to follow tutorial on how to make this spider web table runner!  It would go perfectly with my spider web wall and I'm wishing I hadn't turned my dining room into an office.  :)

Nap Time Journal made this too cute for words witch bootie banner!  This is such a fun and quirky way to celebrate the holiday.

Amy at Mod Podge Rocks! made an adorable button wreath for Halloween!  I love how the black and orange pop off the purple and the little bats add the perfect touch of spooky.

I'm totally making these turkey cupcakes that Donna created over at Chuckles, Grins, & Banged-Up Shins!  I know these will be a huge hit with the kiddos AND adults!  Seriously so cute with their little Nilla wafer wings and candy corn feathers!  :)

Delia from Delia Creates made a super cool accessory for fall, the sharf.  It's a shawl and a scarf all in one!  How cool is that?  I'm really hoping I get a sewing machine for Christmas because this is something I would love to make!

I love blogland because everyone is so willing to share their ideas!  I'm always inspired by you! :)  Have a SUPER week!

TO DO Tuesday

Another glorious Tuesday and another TO DO list to go with it!  :)  I must say I'm still loving all of the Halloween and fall crafts I'm seeing around.  It never ceases to amaze me how creative and clever you ladies (and perhaps gentleman) are.  :)

Here are a few of the many things I found this week that I've added to my to do list:

Mrs. Owens at A Pumpkin and a Princess showed us how to make this adorable candy dish that looks like a gumball machine. Isn't this the cutest?  I cannot believe this is just a terracotta pot and saucer and a votive holder!  I'm so making this because I don't like to leave open candy (like candy corn or M&M's) uncovered.

Jenn over at Crafting for My Sanity made these shabby chic pumpkins with 2"x4"s.  I have seen a ton of 2"x4" pumpkins around blogland, but these are the chicest!  I love how she added rub on transfers to give them a shabby feel and the raffia is the perfect finishing touch on top.

Michele over at The Scrap Shoppe showed us an adorable altered lunch box that her friend Amy made to hold all of her little one's goodies from the hospital.  What a fantastic keepsake!  I'm definitely going to have to make a cool, boy one and put Kason's coming home outfit and hat inside. :)

Sammy at Scraps N' Strings gave us a wonderful tutorial on how to make a tag along stuffed lion.  I love this lion's cute little face, fuzzy mane, and how he is essentially a body pillow for her little guy.  I especially love that here little guy, Finn, named his lion Phil.  Too cute!  This tutorial could easily be adapted to many different animals.  I wonder what Kason's favorite animal will be. :)

Susan from Living with Punks made this insanely adorable ruffle button scarf.  If I ever have a little girl, she will sport one or two (or five) of these.  ...and if I don't have a little girl, I'll totally rock it. :)  LOL!  On a side note, I'm pretty positive this little beauty has her model pose down.

Wishing you a terrific Tuesday!

TO DO Tuesday

Another Tuesday!  Woowho!  You know what that means here at Crafts & Sutch?  My TO DO list is getting longer and longer! :)  I am loving how blogland is flooded with fall ideas!  It just makes my heart happy!

Before we get to the goods, I just have to toot my own horn for a quick minute!  I entered two of my EEK Weeks projects (Spooky Spider Wreath and Stylish Halloween Boxes) into the CSI Project's Fall Challenge and both of them made the top 10!  How cool is that?!  So insanely giddy about that. :)
Then April over at April's Craft Nest recreated my Spooky Spider Wreath!  Her's turned out so cute...I mean spooky!  :)

Now on to the TO DO list...

Becky from Becky's Blog shared some super fun and simple 3-D fall art over at eighteen25!  These are so clever, affordable, and adorable!  A perfect combination and a definite for my TO DO list!

I love this project Allison did from A Glimpse Inside!  I have about a million toilet paper, paper towel, and wrapping paper roles for another project that is on the TO DO list.  I have all the other supplies laying around too, so the hubs would totally be on board with this project...I wouldn't have to buy a thing.  LOL!  These little pumpkins and apples are so charming, and I'm loving how they are the perfect accessory for those beautiful shutter doors!

Tasha over at Dot Dot Dot dressed up some dollar store place mats and made them look like a million bucks!  The colors are gorgeous and I'm thinking a trip to the local Dollar Tree is in order.  Wouldn't these make the best wedding gifts?

Jewelry is the easiest way to dress up and personalize an outfit and I immediately fell in love with this Victorian cuff bracelet Ashley from Little Miss Momma shared over at Ucreate!  It's super girlie and super easy to make!  Ashley's blog is all things mommy and crafty...two things I adore.  She is always so clever and witty and I love to read stories about her little guy, Baby W. :)

I'm a sucker for boy crafts because there aren't a whole lot out there.  I particularly like this one because it's fun and educational.  Georgia at Love and Lollipops made this car matching mat with a cereal box and some card stock!  Little ones can drive their car and park it in the matching space.  :)  Too cute!

For all those featured, please grab a button from the side bar if you would like! ;)

Crafts & Sutch will be very busy this week!  Still to come:  an out of this world birthday party and a fun, little surprise.  :)

TO DO Tuesday

Another Tuesday is here and that means it's time for my TO DO list! :)  Here are just a few of the spectacular things I found around blogland this week!

Halloween is flooding blogland, and I love it!  How cool are these candles?  Ador shared these super easy customized candles.  She has a fantastic tutorial to show us how to "transform boring candles to happy candles."  Personally, I'm thinking some spider web candles are in order. :)

And I adore these witch shoe dish towels from the ladies at Uncommon.  The stripy stockings, pom pom trim, and bow are too cute for words.  How charming!

I'm crazy for this desk over at All Things Thrifty.  Brooke incorporated so much into this redo...paintable wallpaper, chalkboard paint, and houndstooth-lined drawers...swoon!

I've been pondering redoing my bedroom for a while, and I think I've been inspired to finally do it because of these adorable lamps at The Hand Me Down House.  I don't think monograms will ever go out of style.  They are classic and add so much personalization to a space.  I'm really loving Amanda's new bedding too! :)

I love these alphabet rocks over at The Mother Lode!  Too cool that this game is one you don't have to hide away when guests come over...it just turns into your decor! :)

My TO DO list is getting long.  :)  So many super fantastic projects out there. :)

TO DO Tuesday

Hello, and Happy Tuesday!  I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day and I hope it was labor free.  :)

I'm not sure how you guys (gals, but I call everyone guys) keep track of the things you want to recreate but I've been bookmarking the links, and now I've got a list a mile long. :)  Well, I think I've solved my problem by starting a new, little feature I like to call TO DO Tuesday!  :)

  • SIDE NOTE:  Does anyone else always write TO DO in capital letters?  I think it's my way of telling myself it's important.

Anywho, so here it goes.  These are a few things I've found around blogland that are on my TO DO list.

I simply adore this Quiet Book at Oopsey Daisy!  I remember having a quiet book when I was little and just loved it!   She has so many fantastic and fun activities packed into this book!  My little guy is still too small for this project just yet, but it is on my TO DO list.

Here are a few of my favorite pages:

Build a Burger

Mr. Potato Head...there's a Mrs. too!  So cute!

I love this "count the watermelon seeds" page!

There is a little match box car tucked into that red pocket and your little one can "drive" it through the neighborhood!

 Tic-Tac-Toe, endless hours of fun!

How about these insanely adorable, and eco-friendly hats from I Am Momma, Hear Me Roar?  I just love Cheri because she is always coming up with the most clever things for little boys.  There is definitely not enough stuff for the little men in our lives in blogland. :)  I don't have a sewing machine but I'm asking for one for Christmas, and these will definitely be on my TO DO list!

I love this Smore Brownie Pie at Making Memories...One Fun Thing After Another!  How fun is a smore brownie pie?  It's like all the yumminess of camping without the dirt and bugs.  :)  I tried to make a pie similar to this one for my best friend's outdoor themed baby shower, and I set it on fire.  :)  Who knew there were two broiler settings?  I never claimed to be Betty Crocker.  :)

I hope you love this new feature as much as I do.  If anything, it is an organizational tool for me.  How do you all keep track of your crafting TO DO list?
