Adding a Link in a Comment

Holy Brr, Batman!  It is pretty chilly here in Texas and they are even saying we might get some snow down here in the south! :)  That is something we do not see very often so we always look forward to it!

Whenever I do SUTCH an Inspiration, I always leave the featured bloggers a comment on their post to let them know I'm showing them off for the day!  It's a great way to network and meet new friends.  I also like to leave a direct link to SUTCH an Inspiration in the comment so it's easy for them to come back and visit me.

It's super simple!  If you can copy and paste, then you can do this!

First, copy the HTML link code below.
<a href="http://yourblog.blogspot.com">Your Blog's Name</a>
The information within the quotation marks represent the link URL and the information between the ><'s represents the display text. This is the code for a link back to Crafts & Sutch.

Now replace the red area with the URL for your blog or post (be sure you leave the quotation marks) and replace the blue area with the text you would like to be displayed.

Here is what it will look like in action:

NOTE:  Leave a space before and after the code.

And here is what the comment will look like when you post it:

See how Crafts & Sutch shows up as a hyperlink?  Isn't that too cool?!  Told ya, super simple! :)  Now leave me a comment with a link back to your blog so I can come and visit you! :)

Stay warm, Dear Friends!

I'll be linking to these fantastic parties!

  4. I've been doing this all the time...it IS easy. Now I read several blogs that don't like the idea of having links left in their comments. To me, it's a courtesy, to leave a direct link to what you'd like to have them visit. It's only fittin'!!!

Yes, I live in SOUTH, south Texas...in Corpus...and right now we're having a bit of an ice storm.

    BRRRR is right.
