Halloween Wreath Giveaway

EDIT:  This giveaway is closed. :)

Happy Thursday, and Happy September!  I simply love this time of year.  I love the leaves changing colors, the air being crisp and cool (okay, that is just wishful thinking in Texas), and the upcoming holidays!  I must admit I have a huge love affair with September-December.  :)

In honor of fall and Halloween, Crafts & Sutch will showcase a fall or Halloween inspired craft every Monday until Halloween...that's eight weeks, and eight fantastic projects!  EEK Weeks will kick off on Monday, September 6th!

To get us all in the holiday spirit and to introduce EEK Weeks @ Crafts & Sutch, here is the spectacularly spooky Halloween wreath I've been promising.  It was inspired by a wreath in Martha Stewart Living circa October 2008.  She covered a wreath in neutral reindeer moss.  I've been hanging on to that magazine for two years so I could remake this beauty.  While I would have loved to remake Martha's wreath exactly, I found reindeer moss to be a little pricey...especially in the neutral colors.  A small bag will run you about $5 (and you would need several to cover a wreath this big), so I decided that I could make this wreath look just as fantastic with Spanish moss.

Drum roll please...

I think the Spanish moss is the perfect home for these sparkly spiders, and the sparkles take this wreath from spooky to sassy.  It will be a gruesomely glamorous welcome for your guests and trick or treaters.

Now is your opportunity to get this wreath on your front door.

Entry Requirements (one entry per person):
1.  Follow Crafts & Sutch (I love you guys!  This a huge thank you for helping me reach 200 followers)
2.  Leave one comment below telling me your favorite Halloween or fall family tradition.

It's as easy as that!  The giveaway will close at midnight on Sunday night (Central time) and the winner will be randomly selected using Random.org and announced on the first day of EEK weeks, September 6th.  Good luck!

  4. I love decorating my house for Halloween! As my best friend, you know how crazy I am about it! My mother always made a big deal out of Halloween, and I remember her dressing up as a witch to scare the kids in the neighborhood when they came to our door. I hope I am able to keep the love of Fall/Halloween going with Jake. :)
